Carso-Calc is very compact (about 400
Kb) and offers a good layout finish. It has a dynamic appearance which can
change shape according to different circumstances. It is also equipped with
a monitor window for different kinds of visual feedbacks, like displaying of
the contents of the History, displaying of all the used Memories, or
displaying of the contents of the Stack.
The current value can be displayed in several different formats, which are
monitored in the first line of the display. Each value keeps its own format
when moved to the history or when stored in memory.
Large resizable internal storage with export/import capabilities (up to 1000
memory cells), and large resizable history with export capabilities for
printing purposes (up to 5000 operations). Full clipboard compatibility
makes it possible to easily exchange any kind of data with other
applications (for ex. MS Excel).
Possibility to type a calculation in expression format and save it for later
or compute it immediately.
Great programming capabilities by means of user-defined Macros, Functions,
Conversions and Constants, each one connectable to a calculator button for
easy access. All program entities are stored in external databases and
completely managed by the calculator (unlimited in number and size).
Recursive calling allowed for macros. Functions and conversions can be
called from macros, the online expression or any other function (constants
are accessible from anywhere).
Extensive context help available. Use it to get an explanation on each
single part of the calculator and to understand how it works.
Possibility to run the calculator on both a desktop PC and a pocket device
sharing the same database (automatically synchronized by ActiveSync while
connected).
Possibility to change the calculator skin and to adjust the calculator
layout to it in order to get the best result. A large number of skins are
available on this site for free downloading.
